May Notes

Our May meeting was potluck with a guest speaker and trunk show by Mary Hertel.  She was a great speaker and a great trunk show was given with the chance to purchase as well.  She was also going to Jean Potter’s shop the following day for a workshop.  You are able to Google her under Made By Marney.  We did have a short meeting following.

Committee Reports below:
Quilt Show – Patsy had flyers and book marks to hand out along with the raffle tickets as well.  Please try to sell tickets for the show early and if you need more Patsy and Linda Andert will have them.  We will be looking for more volunteers to help with different items as the quilt show gets closer.  Please be thinking about how you can help.

Please note there will NOT be a normal June meeting this month and the bus trip will be our June activity.

Reminder - entries for the St. Croix County Fair are due May 31st to Cindy Van Dyk

We had show & tell with both Farm Girl Vintage blocks and other quilted items.
I am including the Quilt Show Registration. Hopefully you can make copies for yourself.  You will need 1 form for each quilt you enter into the quilt show in Sept.   And I would appreciate the quilt forms as soon as possible so I can start typing up the slips for the show.
I also have included an excel spreadsheet with a list of the current members.  Please review the spreadsheet and let me know if there are any additions or corrections that need to be made before I make copies or publish it.

Thank you,
JoDee Johnston
